Proceeds to be used toward the Council’s commitment to the St Paul Church Capital Campaign. Please plan to attend the dinner!

Alfred E. Greco Scholarship Memorial Scholarship: $400
Any high school graduating senior who is the son, daughter, or grandchild of a council member in good standing is eligible. Call Terry Lescoe (860) 828-9285 for an application. (Due: April 30, 2014).
Monsignor Greylish Ecumenical Scholarship – 2 for $500 each
Any Berlin resident graduating high school this year is eligible. Contact Terry Lescoe (860) 828-9285 for an application. (Due: April 30, 2013)

Recent Event Highlights:
Vets Drive – $2,500 worth of clothing, toiletries, blankets, and stationary products were collected for the veterans at the Rocky Hill Veterans Home and Hospital. The council received a note of gratitude from the Veterans.
Coat Drive – Approximately 450 new and used coats and children clothing was collected. The clothing was gratefully received by the needy in New Haven.
Breakfast with Santa – Thanks to our members, their families, friends, the Ladies Guild and the confirmation students, Breakfast with Santa was fully staffed and a success. Over $350 was raised for charity. Without the help provided, this event would not have gone as smoothly as it did. Special thanks to Florence Gontarz (the cookie lady).

Council Names Local Free Throw Winners
The council winners were Matthew Lanteri, McKenzie Kane, Tavian Montanez, Kalyssa Muniz, Lily Sokolowski, Lindsey O’Bright, and Kirsten Armetta. They will all compete next in the district competition.
A special thanks to last year’s State Council winner, Emma Sukolowski, who assisted with this year’s event.
